This will then lead to understanding professional ethics and how this should adapt our thinking and actions. We will explore the impact of body image and how this may affect the public’s view of treatment need and their desires. Learning Outcomes Exploring and understanding how we feel and think is critical for us to be able to consider treatment requests, or suggested treatment. As patient expectations alter over time, with an increased demand for more cosmetic treatment, we need to be prepared to have open conversations to make sure any treatment leads to the most appropriate outcome for the patient. The impact of body image can alter a patient’s desire for certain treatment and their expectations of what it will do for them. We need to be mindful of this in order to protect patients who are potentially vulnerable.Assessment of Catherine Rutland's presentation:(Required)Very PoorPoorSatisfactoryGoodVery GoodSpeaker / TutorContentPresentationWere Catherine Rutland's presentations relevant to general practice?(Required) Yes No Partially Were Catherine Rutland's aims and objectives met?(Required) Yes No Partially Andrew ChandrapalPlease give your feedback on Andrew Chandrapal's presentations."The Perils and Pitfalls of Composite Dentistry.
